THE CONNECT IN KIAMA – BETTER MARRIAGES AUSTRALIA CONFERENCE IS POSTPONED UNTIL 2021
THE BETTER MARRIAGES AUSTRALIA NSW COMMITTEE HAS REVIEWED THE STATUS OF COVID19 INFECTIONS IN NSW AND THE CURRENT COVID SAFE RESTRICTIONS FOR CONFERENCES, CHURCH VENUES AND CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS INCLUDING GATHERING SIZES.
AFTER CAREFULLY CONSIDERING OUR RESPONSIBILITIES TO POTENTIAL CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS, CONFERENCE AND VENUE STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE A “COVID SAFE CONFERENCE”, WE HAVE DECIDED THAT IT IS IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF ALL INVOLVED TO POSTPONE THE CONNECT IN KIAMA – BETTER MARRIAGES AUSTRALIA CONFERENCE UNTIL THE SECOND HALF OF 2021, ON A DATE TO BE DETERMINED.
We are currently consulting with the venue, keynote speakers, and workshop leaders to determine a new date for the conference. In addition, we are exploring the possibilities of offering some online sessions for couples in the first half of next year as a “lead up” to the conference.
The NSW Committee thanks all couples who have lodged, through the website, an expression of interest in attending the conference, and we assure you, that we will provide full details on the alternative date and arrangements as soon as these are confirmed.
We look forward to welcoming you, in 2021, to Better Marriages’ events
